Dr. Timur Hanan has been practicing medicine specializing in Physical  Medicine and Rehabilitation since 2006.  Dr. Hanan completed one year  residency at NYU Medical Center specializing in general surgery and  completed his residency training at New York Medical College  specializing in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation.   Dr. Hanan has  been a Diplomate and Fellow of American Academy of Physical Medicine and  Rehabilitation since 2008.  Dr. Hanan is a Clinical Assistant Professor  of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation at New York Medical College  where he has been participating in training medical residents.

Dr. Hanan treats variety of medical conditions, including and not  limited to stroke, neurological and musculoskeletal conditions and  injuries.   Dr. Hanan  has given numerous lectures and grand round  presentations on verity of topics including spinal cord injury,  traumatic brain injury, general rehabilitation, Electro Diagnostic  Medicine, management after  limb amputation, chronic pain, hand  rehabilitation, Rheumatoid Arthritis, Osteoarthritis, Peripheral  Neuropathy, Brachial Plexus injury, fractures in children,  burn  rehabilitation, chronic regional pain syndrome, Guillain-Barre Syndrome,   and joint replacement rehabilitation.

Dr. Hanan is a member of  the American Medical Association, American  Academy of  Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation, and the New York  Society of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation.
